Desks with adjustable height

Hello everyone! Recently I came across an advertisement from ProgressiveDesk, which offers desks with adjustable height and various ergonomic technologies. I spend a lot of time at the computer and every year I begin to notice how tired my back and neck get. I heard that such desks can help prevent these problems, but still, how justified is this? I think I can't be the only one who has such questions. What do you think, is it worth investing money in such desks or is it more marketing than a really useful thing? Does anyone have experience using them?

This is actually a very good question, and believe me, you are not the only one. I also started looking for a solution for my back a few months ago, because by the evening everything would start to hurt - my lower back, my neck, and then my shoulders. I worked in an office, sat at a regular desk, and although I did not have serious problems with my posture, I began to feel how the load on my spine was increasing. When I switched to remote work, I realized that I needed to change something, otherwise I would not last long. I started looking for desks with adjustable height, and, frankly, at first I thought it was more marketing than something useful. But the more I read, the more I was convinced that such a thing makes sense. The solution came when I ordered an automated standing desk from https://www.progressivedesk.com/, because they not only have high adjustment, but also additional accessories, such as monitor stands and organizers. To be honest, at first I doubted how such a thing could affect my well-being, but in practice it really worked. I started working standing, and then alternated it with sitting positions, and literally after a few weeks I noticed a difference. My back began to hurt less, and my energy at the end of the working day remained at the level as if I had just started working. Of course, it is important not just to sit or stand, but to change your position during the day. I can say for sure that after a few weeks of this approach, all my problems with back and neck pain almost disappeared.

I also work from home and can confirm that it is true - changing your posture really helps. To be honest, I was skeptical at first about all these height-adjustable desks, thinking that it was just marketing hype. But after I started working from home, I realized that the same back and neck problems that were written about were starting to appear. My back starts to hurt not because I am sitting incorrectly, but because sitting in one place for a long time, even if it seems comfortable, still puts stress on the spine.
